$5 Ring Organizer!

 

 5 BUCKS for a 36 ring organizer?? Sick steal, RIGHT?

Yeah...kinda....sorta.


I ordered two of them and one came out perfectly fine & the other had a scratch. I'm not too anal about it so I'm not even gonna bother to complain, it does the job. BUT one thing that was weird to me was the plastic, clear part was DIRTY? I wiped it off with some windex so no biggie, but still..

I HATE DIRTY. Messy, on the other hand, is another story!

MEH, for $5 it does the deed so I'm not gonna complain too hard. As long as it organizes rings!

Buyincoins.com has a whole bunch of discounted make up & hair knick knacks as well as a whole bunch of random things! It's worth checking out but I will warn you, even though it's uber cheap the things I've ordered from there are NOT THE BEST OF QUALITY. Remember you get what you pay for! I do like their eyelashes though, it's extremely cheap. I believe it's a dollar for 10 pairs! So even if they're flimsy and what not, I think I can afford .10 a day for a fresh pair of eyelashes on the daily!

Dollar Polishes & TokiDoki

Hola, just wanted to give you guys a quickie on a couple things I've bought. Probably going to do a review video on other things I bought. Thanks for reading & don't forget to follow me on twitter & youtube @conniechacha

Here, I bought 5 off brand nail polishes from a nail warehouse in L.A. called SkyLine Nails. The colors are true to what you see & the best part is.. everything in this pic was only $1!!!! Yes, even the piggy bank from the Dollar Tree was only $1. Didn't have to break the bank and all this stuff lasts just as long as any big brand.

For Valentine's Day, I decided to buy myself something & of course my boyfriend as well. It's always so hard to shop for a guy but since my boyfriend loves Marvel, I decided to buy him & myself TokiDoki skate decks. I bought him the limited edition Marvel Skate Deck2 ($68) and myself the Las Vegas ($60)deck. Since the factory is in Los Angeles, I received the package the next day! These are great decorative pieces for the house. ( www.tokidoki.it )

The Chic Geek: 4eyes 4cheap & Clinique Review!

Who said prescription glasses had to be expensive? I always was so weary of picking out glasses 'cause once you picked 'em out, you're pretty much stuck with them for a couple of years considering they're an expensive piece of necessary eyewear. Even if you wear contacts, you should still have a back up pair. I never understood how the frame ITSELF would be over $100 for a flimsy piece of plastic and then on top of that have to pay PER lens, rindonkulousness. Anyways, I love love love this website and wanted to share it with all of you and I hope you guys find this as useful as I did!

I thought Clinique came up with a really cool concept for de-puffing the airbags but as you can tell from the above, it didn't do jack diddly. If anything, I think it made those baggy buggers even more notice-able then it was before. The rollerball itself is cold, so it gives a nice cold sensation over your eyes for the the first 5 seconds but after that your body heat takes away that effect. I really wanted to love this product because in the morning I know I don't look refreshed, I was hoping it was going to brighten my tired little eyes. Don't waste your time or money on this piece of deuce!

Dumplings & Salad : Time & Money Saver

This is for that person who comes home late & dreads cooking because of the cleaning & waiting. Luckily, this quick fix is done in about 10 minutes or less. This is a much better alternative than going out to eat, it saves you time, money & gas (which all essentially adds up to saving $$).

DUMPLINGS & SPINACH CAESAR SALAD

Here's what you'll need:

• Bag of frozen dumplings (I used veggie ones from a Korean market, around $7/bag)
• 1 tbsp Olive Oil (my garlic Olive Oil was $5)
• 1/4 Cup of Water (You can also use sake[$5.50], chicken stock, this adds more flavor)
• Sautee Pan with a Lid!
• 10 Minutes to spare

For the Salad:

• A Fist full of Fresh Greens (I used Spinach) ($1/bunch or $3 for a box of baby spinach)
• 1 tbsp of Caesar Salad Dressing ($3)
• 2 tbsp of Crispy Onions ($0.50)
• 2 clicks of Fresh Cracked Pepper
• 1 pinch of Sea Salt

How To Make This:

1. Add Oil to pan over medium heat until it starts crackling.
2. Lift pan and tilt it to distribute oil as evenly as possible
3. Take about 7-12 of your frozen dumplings (try not to use more than 12 @ once)
4. Let them heat for a minute or two then add your liquid (for steaming & defrosting)
5. Cover your dumplings & wait about 5 minutes (or until liquid is gone)**
6. After the liquid is all gone, you lift up the lid & see your steamed dumplings. If you're fine with them being steamed, then stop here & serve.
7. But I like them browned with a crispy skin so, you just turn them over until browned, then SERVE!

**While you're waiting after Step 5..... Add the salt, pepper, dressing & greens into a bowl & toss it! After your salad is tossed (ha-ha), you add your crispy onions for that extra crunch. You don't want to over dress your salad because it'll be all you taste & you'll be missing out on what your greens really have to offer.

Now, I don't know about you but I think this tastes much better than microwaved food & it only takes a few extra minutes. I would also prefer this over spending $5+ for a fast food meal that will leave me bloated, unsatisfied & regretful after consuming. Every ingredient I've used can be used again & again until you've used it all up! Oh, not to mention everything was pretty cheap...even the Olive Oil!

This Sake was only $5.50 & the bottle is HUGE!

I love all the crispy components to this meal!

*Save money on produce & meats @ your local ethnic food store, they are always much cheaper than American stores.
