Haati Chai Haul- Rings

My friend Alex has this ring obsession and happened to show me Haati Chai by Stella Simona's site and was telling me how badly he wanted one. Since his birthday was coming and they were 50% off, I decided to put in an order for him. As I was browsing through her Facebook page, I was pretty amazed at the type of the jewelry Stella Simona was making. They are custom pieces that she makes herself & sells them through Haati Chai by Stella Simona, which is her blogspot. Along with the rings I purchased, she has a dozen other custom rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, head pieces, nose rings, etc. They all look so amazing but the question is, which one is best for you? Below you will see the rings I purchased, which were the Mehndhi Rings in rose gold & silver and the Haati Luck Ring. The Mehndi Rings are $45 each & the Haati Luck Ring is $49 each. Yeah they're a little pricey but they're one of a kind investment pieces. Oh the best part about them is, they're ADJUSTABLE! Yayyy that means skinny or pudgy fingers will fit without sizing issues. Hooray! That's what really drew me in because uhh.. obviously my fingers aren't exactly skinny & it's hard for me to find cute rings that fit. The only gripe I have about my ring would be the luck ring... one of the pieces fell off on the first day & Stella said she would fix it for me if brought it in. Hopefully I'll be able to get that done but other than that... no complaints. The pieces are really pretty & they will fit all of your fingers. There's really no right or wrong way to wear them, it's all up to you. Lovin' these Indian inspired pieces :)

Just a quick tip, seems like they do have a lot of sales on different items so if you're interested you can see all the great deals on Facebook. Oh, also don't forget to follow me on Twitter!

Since I went there myself to pick up the rings, I decided to sneak a pic of some of her accessories -- Super cute!

Fashion Fiend or Life Investor?

(taken after F21 sample sale '10)
We're only as sick as our secrets..
so what skeletons are you hiding in your closet?

I, for one, am not a big fan of skeletons..they would take up space in my closet much needed for more important things, like CLOTHES!

Clothes are an investment for success, life & love. Unfortunately, one's attire conveys a social psychological message to those who see you. Creating opportunities or reinforcing negativity. You never know who you will run into or what you'll stumble across, so I'm always prepared (for the most part, ok, I'm lying but I TRY!) because the recipe to success is opportunity and preparedness.

So case closed, I'm not a sick, addicted shopaholic! I'm an investor in life, love & success :)

Collective Haul & Video

THE MAC ATTACK!
So few items, so many dollars! I actually haven't bought from MAC in awhile. I'm not really a BRAND whore. As in, I don't commit to just one brand or have any favorite brands for that matter. I guess I have favorite brands for specific things but in all things even my wardrobe to accessories, I'm a fan of diversity. I believe each brand has it's own "thing" and there are too many wonderful "things" out there to just be married to one brand. Not knockin' on anyone who is committed to certain brands, just my philosophy ;)

Pictured above is:  Plushglass "Ample Pink" Cremesheen "Ever Hip" & Mineralize Blush "Warm Soul"

I really, really love these products or else I wouldn't have bothered buying them considering I've bought a lot of make up lately but my new all-time favorite lipstick HAS TO BE EVER HIP. It is so damn gorge, I can barely stand it ;)

Ever Hip on it's own has such a NOT-TOO-FUNKY-but-just-enough-funk kind of barbie pink color and I LA LA LA LOVE IT! Enough pop w/out all the slop! & the best part is, I can take it down a notch with a little bit of gloss. Best of both worlds? I think so. Anyways, check out what else I got by watching the video below! Enjoy!

Orogold & Shopping With Cha Cha Teaser

So this past weekend, miss cha cha & I went SHOPPING at the Santa Anita Mall (huge, confusing mall it is!)! I am going to be putting up a haul video/pics of all the junk we bought & a review/see it in action video on OROGOLD.

So what is OROGOLD? Never heard of it? Maybe you've seen their cart or store and didn't pay it any mind, only noticed it's Paris Hilton look-alike in a mascarade ball mask? In the Los Cerritos Center they have a cart but all I ever noticed was the Paris Hilton look-alike--not very appealing. For some reason, most mall carts that sell do not appeal to me, they actually turn me off because I feel like as I'm approaching the 10 ft radius of the cart. the employee targets me & has some plan of attack on how to lure me into trying their silly product or worse, a creepy guy who tries to hit on me or use compliments to lure me to his cart. Carts technically have no perimeter so it's kind of  feels like forcefully being in sale predator territory, whereas a store is something of CHOICE. You walk in there because you wanted to and most employees, not all, don't breathe down your neck.

ANYWAYS, I'm going way off topic with my cart vs store babble...

So OROGOLD is basically a company that uses gold & other metals in their products, which is skin care & cosmetics. Apparently, gold has special properties other than luster ;) But you shall have to wait to wait for the review to see...

if OROGOLD is really the goldmine of beauty & youth or just fool's gold!

 Kelly Moses - Sales Manager
Nice guy....great salesman.
Apparently, he's based out in Vegas but has come out to California to help start up a few stores that opened up in the greater los angeles area. Go visit him at Santa Anita Mall & get a free demonstration! But if that's too far for you, he'll be at the Beverly Center in just a few weeks!

Stay tuned & STAY GORJESS,

Are you a bottom? (Review & Haul)

Some girls like it on top, some on bottom....MASCARA THAT IS!! I'm definitely a bottom girl because I wear falsies on top and I definitely love the way full, top & bottom lashes look together. It gives my eyes enough definition for an everyday look without it looking too harsh with eyeliner! Anyways, check out the video to see my latest mascara find! Clinique Bottom Lashes ;)

Anyways, I know just  last week I posted about my new hair but I changed it, AGAIN!

I added in some brown low lights to give my blonde some dimension.

Smashbox Ionic Eyes Palette ($10)

Smashbox Classifeyed Palette ($15)

Benefit Cosmetics Feelin' Cheeky! Minis

From top to bottom: bene tint, high beam, posie tint

Each bottle is .13 oz and great for traveling. I'd have to say posie tint is my favorite because not only is it a check tint but it's a lip tint as well.

I purchased these during Sephora's 15% off for Beauty Insiders event. If you're not a beauty insider you should definitely sign up to be so you can rack up your beauty points, get emails for sales & events & there are other perks of being a beauty insider as well, like....getting to buy products before it's released to the public!

So, I got 15% off and because I went through EBATES I got 4% cash back!
Almost 20% off!
I don't know about you, but 20% off sounds a lot better than 15% off. Maybe not the biggest difference to you big ballers out there but every little bit counts !

So, SIGN UP ! SIGN UP! SIGN UP!

XOXO,
